bloggers bloc?

i don't know what is the deal but i have not felt like blogging in forever! it's the weirdest thing... i'm sure it'll come back to me. i don't think it's cuz of facebook even though i spend plenty of time on there! but you see, at work i need something to fill my time when there's no work to do, and facebook has been the perfect remedy! it's harder to blog at work cuz i get interrupted 50 times. anyways.

so let's talk my car. so far, so perfect. it's so so so nice, i love everything about it! and i love throwing all my cd's and shoes in there. my neighbor saw me changing my shoes one morning and he asked me if i keep a whole closet in there, and truthfully i sort of do :) the satellite radio is pretty fun too except i can never stay on one station for long and i drive myself crazy flipping through 200 channels. i can't wait to wash my car. in fact i purposely got it all muddy this afternoon after the tiny torrential rain passed so that i can wash it super good tomorrow. indeed!

this weekend was so nice. i went fishing out at blackstrap for the day and the weather was so amazing and hot. i felt sooooooo amazingly relaxed and we had such good alone time together. as many of you know, jeff has moved to humboldt. he and 3 other guys bought into a farm equipment business, and there are three stores they own. one is in PA, one in kinistino, and then the one in humboldt. so yes, he's moved there and so far things are going really good for him. humboldt is actually a beautiful little city (it's considered the smallest city in saskatchewan, with 5000 people and growing fast). it's got all the fast food joints and a walmart is coming. so it's not so small town, and it's only an hour away. so yes, for the time being, i am here and he is there. and things are good.

so anyway back to my weekend, you guys i actually really like fishing! i HATE the actual slimy stinky fish, but when you catch one it's sooooooooo exciting and really really fun! i'm quite funny fishing actually, cuz i'm not the conventional, serious fisher... nope i mostly suntan, read, do my sudoku's. and only start fishing once someone else has caught one so that i can catch up. i have a new, upgraded, REAL fishing rod now. after last year's humongo fish i caught, i have graduated to real fishing rod status. so proud. anyway i pretty much freak out whenever a fish is being caught cuz i think it's so disgusting. but it's fun. and i didn't even burn cuz i wore sunscreen all day long. i hope my tan lasts longer than a day. too bad i have to sit indoors from 8:30 to 5 all week long. i HATE THAT.

k what else, what else. my graduation is on wednesday. i'll have to get a pic or two in my grad gown and cap. maybe after that i'll actually feel like i've accomplished something major. that's pretty much the reason i'm going. just to wear the crap, walk across the stage, shake peter's hand (i think i'm gonna ask him for a tour of his gorgeous house) and get that degree. perhaps then it will sink in that i'm not going back in september and that all that work i did the last four years is all summed up in my little piece of paper.
Kristin A Eagle. Bachelor of Arts, Honours. International Studies.
congratulations, self!

so me, jeff, lynnel and my parents went to the new greek restaurant on 3rd ave, katouki tavern i think it's called. it was AMAZING! a bit pricey but QUITE the experience. first off, it's beautiful in there. later on they have belly dancers come through the restaurant and go to each table and try to get you to dance with them! it's super funny. and when you leave you get to smash plates! how great is that? oh i loved smashing plates. it's like therapy! jeff let me smash his plate so i got to do it twice, how nice of him! lynnel took pictures so hopefully one day she'll upload them. quite the experience, i highly recommend it. and dessert was the most delicious dessert i have ever ever had.

k well i am done blogging now. so sorry i have been so non-existent. i guess i am just a little bit boring lately but yes, i'm sure it'll come back to me...

bye now.

ta freaking da

i watch the office, and i found it particularly funny last night. thats where my title comes from. i also enjoyed, "dwight, you ignorant slut" and it was so darn funny that they said it twice for my viewing pleasure. hilarious! so if i ever say that to you, and insert your name in for dwight, do not be offended. just laugh, because i am sure that i will be laughing too.

it's friday friends! and its payday. blessed payday.

it's also friday the 13th. spooky. the first spooky thing that happened to me this morning was that i dropped my banana on the ground. what does this mean? what are the cosmos trying to tell me? i do wonder.

the second spooky event - the police called me. then they sent their best looking officer to come to my office to have me sign something. hot damn. haha. i've always wanted to say that and i felt that was a good place for it.

that's it for spooky events thus far. do tell me your friday the 13th story if you do have one.

last night i hosted the first bbq of the year! jeff called me and told me he wanted to bbq for supper and so we went and got a couple terriaki steaks. we had a couple extra, so i promply called my lovely dating friends, lynnel and denver, and we supped together. we had steaks, a huge garden salad, a vegetable melody, potato salad and fresh buns. lynnel and denny brought a homemade strawberry-rhubarb pie (technically homemade but purchased from mystic java) and though we didn't let it settle long enough after coming out of the oven, it was outstanding. NOW i know why you always see pictures of pies sitting on the counter all steamy and delicious looking. they need a few minutes to settle so they aren't runny! ah ha! that makes so much sense. but it didn't matter what it looked like. it still tastes the same. so we had a good night, watched some hockey (go flames, right lynnel?!) and some other thurs night tv shows, i.e. the office, 30 rock and my name is earl. good friends, good times.

horray horrah for 21 degrees tomorrow!

that's all for now!

reservations under "hotties"

so i was trying to make this look fun, you know, some pics to the left, some center, some to the right.... it totally didn't work. the funness shines through anyway.
girls night = total success.
there was myself, Lynnel, Jenna + baby Haylie, Kerri, Sarah, Kerilyn + baby Akele, Lilian, Cory + baby Tayah, Laura, Michelle, Danielle, Adrienne, Katie, Coralie, Colette, and Sarah Jane. We went to Alexanders, a perfect place for the start of girls night.
jeff and i actually went there for supper at 6 and i had the most delicious food EVER (my new fav restaraunt, how did i not know how good the food was there???). we were joined by a very creepy man who wouldn't leave us alone but we had a good laugh over it anyway. jeff was outta there as soon as the first girl arrived :)
the kitchen guys called us "the hot table". that was pretty obvious. just check out our hottness:

(Lynnel did so good. she only texted her new boyfriend ONCE! i was so proud.)

Photo Blog

Well it's been a busy month so far. First Haylie, then my big presentation which as you all know I had been freaking out about. Well it ended up going just fine and I'm so relieved to have it over and done with. It was actually kind of fun. A bit of a rush. I have a bag that says "do something every day that scares you." Well that sure scared me alright but it felt so good to do it and to do it well. I've been running three times a week and rewarded myself with lululemon pants which I basically live in. They're wonderful. School is still insane even without a presentation to deal with and I'm tired all the time but feel a bit rejuvinated after the long weekend. Thanksgiving was perfect. I got to see Kristy-Anne and also Tania who just got engaged last week! Both of them were delightful as always! And there was plenty of family time watching football and a couple movies, eating lots of good food, playing games and all that fun stuff. And holding Haylie. I barely did any homework and allowed myself to read War and Peace for the weekend. Perfect. So that's all for now, I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
Love me.
Starting with little Haylie Anne Jade. So precious. She is beautiful isn't she?

Hehe, not as beautiful in this picture but Jenna is holding her a little bit funny.
A cute picture I think!
I love her eyebrows in this. She already has so many funny faces
and expressions!!!

A lovely visit with Kristy-Anne and Lynnel, also Jenna and myself
at Boston Pizza over Thanksgiving Weekend.

Nana giving Haylie a sponge bath. She almost looks like she is smiling here!
And just look at that curly hair!

Jenna and "the kids" in the back of Kyle's big truck. Both of them were fast asleep. Kayden was so disappointed that he missed the trip "downtown" when I went to pick up my new lululemon pants last week. Jenna just drove around the block instead of parking since the little ones were sleeeping.

I love Saskatoon in the fall! It's so darn pretty. This is the street by the university where I park my car every day and get $6.00 parking tickets at least once a week!

University of Saskatchewan

This is Lynnel and I trying on $70 masks at Winners! We were having a blast! Too bad they're so expensive. They'd be fun to have around Halloween time.

This is Angela (aka Angelina Jolie) and me. I am a bridesmaid in her wedding next August. This was at her engagement party last weekend.
She just became an auntie this weekend!

Me and my man. Had to include one of us too. I love us. haha.
My hair looks so short in this but really its just the top layer
sticking out of my bunnyhug.
Anyways. No one else would probably notice that.
What a handsome couple!

my friends

ok someone please tell me why i need to have a blog, a hi5, a myspace, an msn space and whatever else i have??? i don't know. oh well, it's kind of fun. passes the time when i have nothing to do. which actually never happens anymore now that school is back in session. i think this is gonna be a crazy busy semester/year. so let me tell you what i'm taking, since i know about 3 of you care.

History of Europe in the 20th Century - seriously, what better class could exist than this?? Oh how i love history, especially these years. oh the world wars, depression, soviet union/cold war and so on and so forth. Yes I am in love with this class ... besides the fact it is 8:30 in the morning ... i'm famously bad for skipping 8:30 classes. but I think I love this too much to skip. we will see!!!

Environmental Anthropology - um yes i'm not too sure exactly what this class is about. the prof looks like the little man from monopoly, but he is not nearly as cute or as happy. no he's a bit of a drowner and he rambles for ever, but the class seems to be easy. and the textbooks are interesting. one is a novel called Ishmael and it's about a gorilla. it won a whole bunch of awards and is very highly acclaimed i guess. i get to do a book report. can you believe it, a book report for a 300 level class. love that!

Classics - Women in Antiquity - oh gosh another class that i am IN LOVE with. i've never felt this way about school before!!! haha. its wonderful. it's all about greek and roman women in ancient times. so far we've been learning all about greek goddesses' and myths and stuff like that and it's so fun. it's a last minute elective that i picked and i'm so glad i'm in it.

Sociology of Development - 400 level seminar class that includes 1 hour presentation. could i be more scared? i doubt it. but i signed up for the first week to do my presentation, and i'll just get it all over with so i don't have to ruin the rest of my semester. it's still not till oct 2, but thats like, 3 weeks away. that's pretty much tomorrow!! its on the most boring topic ever - development theory from 1940s - 1970s but i don't care. that stuff is like 2nd nature to me now so maybe i won't be as nervous. otherwise could maybe be a good class. we'll see. its on monday afternoons, 12:30 - 3:30, and i get Monday mornings off, so it potentially could be the best day of the week for me. can you imagine, loving your monday? eek! now i'll love sunday nights even more than ever (sunday nights happen to be pretty much my favorite night of the week, i don't know why, i just love them.)

International Co-operation - this is THE class, you know like THE class for my major. this semester is cooperation and conflict, next semester it turns into Development but same prof, same class, just a bit of a different stream. now this i am excited for, you see there is a new Department Head for IS, and he is a very different man from the guy before him. years before, each person had to lead, i.e. be the instructer, for one class each. this is no more, and i couldn't be more relieved. instead, we all have to contribute "equally" and contribution to class is worth 50%. so yes, i still have to be prepared and whatnot but i DON'T have to do a 3 hour presentation basically. so thats awesome. the other 50% is 2 "discussion" papers i have to write that are entirely my OPINION. this is also the best news because there is no research involved, no citations, no nothing besides my fabulous opinion. this also means NO FINAL EXAM/MIDTERM! Oh sigh i couldn't be happier.

so it all sounds fine and dandy but i have more reading than i can possibly keep up with. luckily i love reading so i hope i'll be able to keep up and stay focused. it should be an okay semester!!! and the best part of it all - no spanish. not one little spanish word will i ever need to say. not one. well hallelujah!

on top of all this, i am working still at blue x, wednesday and fridays, all day. but thats okay cuz i need the money and i don't mind coming in a couple days a week at all. besides i have to help angela plan her wedding!!! who, by the way, did not like me calling her a hillbilly in my last blog entry... hehehe, i can't believe she is still letting me be a bridesmaid!!! it was just a little joke cuz angela knows i love her!

what else, what else.... my running is going good. i've been keeping up with the schedule, PLUS i bought a yoga and pilates video at extra foods for $7.00 so i'm trying to do that too. i'm so bad with trying stuff like, twice and giving up but heck i'll try again. another healthy choice i've been trying - eating yogurt. i don't know what it is about yogurt, i just never ever feel like eating it. i even somewhat like it but i never want it, so i've been forcing myself. its just so so so good for you!

this is the longest blog ever. one last thing to say - i finally went golfing for the first time. and guess what i was GREAT!!!! well not like great as in professional but definitely great for a first timer. so there jeff!! and i got to drive the cart and that was fun too. jeff has taught me so much, like seriously i have learned how to camp, fish, golf, 2 step, and most importantly, eat chicken wings, but maybe i'll save all this for another blog!!!

k so i hope the lovely paragraphs made this blog managable to read, cuz i do realize its long, but its been such a long time since i wrote!!! i want lots of comments please, cuz seriously 5 just didn't cut it last time, and i think one of those was megan, and 2 were jenna, lynnel and jenn, my faithful commentors. like hello, alison you never leave me comment anymore, and you miss jolie, and you tania, and you my little mother carmen.... girls, do you not like me enough for a litttle love comment? really now.

(haha i just checked, and there are now SEVEN comments which is funny b/c when i started this blog there were only 5, but both of the last two were leah, won't she be surpised when she sees i finally wrote again!!!).

GOODBYE NOW LOVELY BLOGGER FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June in Pictures (mostly!)

Has summer arrived or WHAT?! I'm loving it.
SOOOOOO I thought I'd put my past month of June in pictures, cuz a picture says a 1000 words. So in the next few posts, I will say approximately 14000 words, and any boys reading this won't even have to stop listening! Perfect, I know. I have already posted lots of pics this month, it's been a busy month. Spent a lot of time with family, friends, babies and babies who I have to realize are no longer babies anymore (Kayden's a big boy now I guess). So in the next 14000 words, I'll go through a stagette at Beileys for a girl I work with at Blue Cross... a spa weekend in Moose Jaw.... betting on horses (and losing badly) at Marquis Down...Divine Brown concert at the Jazz Festival... a to finish off, a nice sister picture of Jenna and I taken tonight at the park. I realize Jenna put it on her blog too but it's just a nice pic, so I added it too.

Enjoy!

pictures... blog cheating?

Kayden thinking he is pretty tough stuff! Wearing his fireman shirt from NYC... too bad Jeff isn't wearing his!

Kayden sneaking up on an unsuspecting Jeff, who's just trying to read the newspaper
Jenna, KAG, Lynnel and Me at Starbucks Saturday night - Mine and Kristy-Anne's drinks were GREEN! go figure... she had a green tea frap and i had a green tea latte. they were... interesting!

Why do people have to move away?

i'm here!

nobody has been blogging lately, it rather stinks. i haven't been very faithful either. but school is almost over and then maybe i'll have something to say other than talk about essays and such. i haven't been leading a very interesting life lately, so that too makes it difficult for interesting blogging! lately i've enjoyed "picture blogging"... but i haven't used my camera since chad's bday, so there goes that idea too :) i should post the email chad sent me regarding my last post about his bday. maybe i'll copy and paste it here, because its quite funny:

"Fabulous...just Fabulous....fantastic blog...I thank you...what a perfect tribute...it makes me want to randomly take pictures of myself puckering up...and then sew together some kind of a made up plot that doesn't actually exist but looks really convincing to those not in attendance. I couldn't have fabricated a greater progression of photos myself...well done."

Ohhh my friend Chad, you do make me laugh! I hope Chad doesn't mind that I just put that on my blog, seeing as it was part of an email he sent. I'm sure he'll tough it up.

So it really is essay writing time at the U. I am always amazed at the extremely important things I find that I must do before I sit down and write the paper. Last week, in the midst of my 20 page anthropology paper (which only ended up being 16 pages cuz I totally ran out of steam), I felt the undying urge to clean the keyboard with q-tips. Honestly people, I could run a keyboard-cleaning business with the pro-job I did! I spent a very long time doing it, and I have to say, the keyboard is in the best shape of its life. Last week I also managed to clean two bathrooms, scanned random pictures, made a MSN My Space because I don't have enough of those types of things, looked up becoming a flight attendant for West Jet, watched plenty of home decorating shows, and wasted wasted wasted my time. I was telling Lynnel last week how I have changed the words to Gretchen Wilsons "Home-wrecker" song to "Time Waster". I sing "oh you're such a... tiiiiiiiiiiime waster!" many times throughout the day. yep.

So that's that. 2 more essays to go, 33 more pages to write. I can't wait!

(I have to admit, i wrote this while on page 3 of "how are women, water and poverty intertwined?") 'oh you're such a.....'

How's this for an update?

I started working full time this morning! I completely forgot what traffic is like in Saskatoon at 8:00 am... I'm more used to 10:00 on my way to school! Big difference. So I was almost late, but not quite. those phones start ringing right when we open them, 8:30 am. Anyway my point is that I'm happy to finally be making some money just in time for Christmas.

Speaking of that, I have not started my shopping except for Kayden's gift. Furthermore, I hardly have any idea what I'm getting anyone. Even worse, I'm not sure when I'm gonna have time to do it! I have an exam Thursday, and then all weekend I'm in Winnipeg, and then next Thursday I leave for New York, and then the week after that I have two more exams and then it's CHRISTMAS! Okay so writing that all out made me realize I have to do it early next week, Monday after Winnipeg, and done before Wednesday so that I can pack for NYC. I also have Friday night this week. That would be a good shopping night, the malls are usually less busy that night. But Friday night is Elim's musical...It'll have to be later. boy oh boy.

I have another hair appointment Saturday morning... I think I want to go darker once again... just lowlights, nothing too scary... but I feel my hair needs to be slightly more bold, a little more drastic... we'll see.

Back to the shopping thing, I still don't have a dress or an outfit for this weekend's fancy Christmas party at the golf and country club in Winterpeg. I am starting to feel that the dress thing may not be a good idea afterall and may go for my usual black pants and fancy tank and pretty heels. Still worried, again, I don't know when I'll go shopping for something. Thursday I guess. It'll be hard to give up my Thursday night TV to go shopping. Survivor is down to the bottom 5 this week, the Apprentice at the bottom 3, The O.C., well I can't miss it, and I missed the last half of ER last week so I don't know what happened with the whole marriage proposal thing. These are important shows to me. JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW.... for the record.... Thursday is officially the ONLY day I watch TV anymore. So that is why I allow myself the four shows.

Well, I just read a fantastic book, Memoirs of a Geisha, now a major motion picture :) It was so good, I read it in about 3 days. I can't wait to see the movie. I love love love reading a book before the movie. I have read In Her Shoes, The Constant Gardener and now this one in the last few months, and have only seen In Her Shoes. Which I loved too. Book was better of course, but still a good fun movie. I'm looking for another good read for the Christmas holidays after my exams, so please, suggestions come my way. It doesn't even have to be a movie either ;)

So my car is a problem once again. I have zero heat or defrost about 50% of the time. I LOVE THAT IN SASKATCHEWAN. FRICK, HOW ABOUT I JUST WALK IN -23 CELCIUS???? I'd love that too. Anyway it is being fixed tomorrow. I hope to top it all off it costs me $300 (knock on wood). Wow I can't believe how superstitious I just was... I actually knocked on my desk! Haha, wow I'm shocked with myself.

Lynnel, Chad and I drove to Moose Jaw on the weekend, and we went and saw the tunnels and had a lovely supper and then went to the mineral water pool! It was so much fun! The pool reminded me of the hotsprings at Fairmont or Banff. Half was inside and half was outside and it was a perfect night for sitting in the hot pool outside with the snow all around. Chad met some friends there, so me and Lynnel considered it our little day together basically. We had some funny moments. One I can't say on here because it's bad. Hehe, maybe I'll tell you if you ask me. We didn't get home until 3 am on Sunday morning, so it was a very full, but fun filled day! I like Moose Jaw. Such a funny little name. Sicamouse is a funny little name too. Those moose must have been running rampant back in the town-naming days!

Well I best get back to studying for my crazy hard exam on Thursday morning. Environmental Geography. Should be interesting to see my mark go down by a million percent seeing as this exam is worth 40%. Too bad...I'll have to work a little bit harder and not be distracted by blogs!!!

Happy belated birthday Alison! We all love you so much.

Don't forget Elim Christmas Presentation this weekend! It's gonna be amazing!

Love Kristin Anne

today

chad just came over. we had cereal. chad and i have a long history of eating cereal together. all of our cereal choices were healthy ones tonight, until i found the reeces puffs hiding in the pantry in the laundry room. (yes, that is where all the goodies hide in this house). however... we decided to choose the healthy choice, and ate some Quaker Harvest Crunch. delicious! i am suprised and delighted at how far along "bran" cereals have become. it used to be that we simply had raisin bran. i like raisin bran to this day, however i usually put some brown sugar on it, and then it's not so healthy afterall. anyway chad and i had a lovely chit chat about nothing particularly important, yet delightful none-the-less. yay chad for being a good friend.

i got to catch up on days of our lives this afternoon. a person really only needs to watch that show once a month or so to catch up with. i'm very confused though because at the very end, STAN showed up... at Sami's wedding. i thought stan WAS sami. in fact, i KNOW that stan was sami, so tony dimera must be up to something very very sneaky once again. in other news, i hate that mimi and belle are no longer friends... it truly saddens me, and i hope that mimi doesn't turn into the next evil villan. because i really liked her before.

kristy-anne was in town this weekend and we had so much fun catching up, her, me and lynnel. what a delight that girl is. we stayed up till 2 in the morning, a phenomenom for me. and tanis was also in town with her little sweet baby, Kennedy, which was a lovely suprise as well. oh girls, why do you all move away from me?

tomorrow i start my volunteer work with the Good Food Box organization. should be interesting i guess. they give us a free lunch at the end of it, so that's a bonus. i should feel happy by the fact that i will be working with 3 people who i don't know, so it will be a lovely opportunity to make new friends. i have a little problem with feeling comfortable with my little circle of friends, and not feeling much of a need to get to know anyone else! i've been working on it though, especially with people at school. there's one girl i've been hanging out with that i graduated high school with, and haven't really seen since we graduated. she's in my major, so we have a couple classes together and i really am happy that we are friends once again. oh what a nice story!

if anyone is looking to buy a new cell phone, please let me know, i'll do the 2 for 1 thing with you... thing is, you need to take my cell (it's only a month old) and i will get a new one, which is actually the exact same one as mine, but it's PINK. i want it so much because it is so so cute. so yes, please let me know if you want a new phone immediately.

YAHOO i just found my long lost jack johnson cd!

ooh speaking of music, i am so excited because lynnel and i have tickets to go see CATS! i LOVE broadway musicals so much. this one will be great. even the MOVIE, phantom of the opera... amazing. the show just haunts my mind... not as in "ghost" haunt, but in my mind i think of it and i get this whole dreary, but wow feeling about it. the music is so amazing. i don't think Cats is quite as... disturbing... as phantom is, but it will still be great. i've downloaded all the songs so that i can sing along in lynnel's ear the whole time. i'm sure that she will think that is really nice of me, just in case she misses a word or two. my most favorite show ever was seeing one in Prague in the national theatre. it wasn't in english but it didn't matter, they translated the words on a screen in english... and there were two girls from switzerland beside me and they let me look through their binoculars as often as they did. it was so incredible.

goodnight my friends, sweet dreams.

and I am officially brunette!

My Loved Ones

For the eyes of Carmen and Alison:
How excited was I to see comments from two of my most LOVED girls that have never commented before?!!! SO HAPPY!!! Carmen, your blog is very... educational! Haha, I know it's for a class, that's too bad, perhaps someday you will do a "Thoughts of Carmen" one. I would be thrilled. And the reason I didn't mention you and... who did you take to grad again??... just kidding, I know!... anyway was because the video was taken right before leaving for the banquet I think... you weren't in it. You were busy taking pictures of your beautiful face in your own backyard!!! By the way, your grad date is engaged, I saw their picture in the newspaper about a month ago! I'll write you soon. And Alison, wow that is crazy that Leon competed against Michael Buble!!! I would definitely choose Leon over Michael ANY day. No word of a lie.
I miss you both a lot.

Bridesmaids and Weddings

Now if only Lynnel and Tania would comment. And Tanis. Because I KNOW you're all reading this!!!! You are girls that I love too. And so many more.... Kristy-Anne, my sister... I shouldn't start naming names because I'll forget someone... Oh man how am I ever going to get married and choose bridesmaids? This is something that keeps me awake at night!!! Hehe. Seriously!!! Speaking of weddings, I would like to take a poll on what everyone thinks of a New Year's Eve wedding??
***And don't look too deep into this question, there is certainly no diamond on my finger, and won't be for awhile!!!!!***
So are we for it or are we against it? Everyone is always looking for a good party on New Years anyways. So yeah, let's hear what you think.

E for Effort!
So away from wedding talk and moving a GIANT step backward, Jeff came home from Mexico on Monday night, and already he is in Edmonton as of this afternoon, because he now has business meetings there. I told him today that I am in dire need of an exquisit and expensive bouquet of flowers because he has been gone so much. He agreed, but that doesn't mean I'm getting any. Okay, so even safeway flowers would make me happy. I shouldn't complain seeing as I did get gifts from Mexico, my two favorites being a Hard Rock Cafe tank top and a silver chain necklace. All I ask for is for him to actually TRY to get me something I like when it comes to gifts, and for him to hit it right on the nose is becoming an excellent quality of his. He has always been good with gifts. Within the first month of us dating, he came home from Regina one day with a fall jacket that he saw at Old Navy (this was back in Oct, 03, before Stoon had one), and he just figured I'd like it.

You gotta love a man who gives good gifts!
