i heart new york!
yes it's true folks, i'm really going there! my parents are taking my sister and i there from december 15 - 18, four short but going to be VERY filled days! can you imagine, new york at christmas? it's gonna be absolutely beautiful. i don't know why but remember in "home alone 2: lost in new york", well there's this scene that i've always remembered, where the kid is running from the bad guys and he hides out in this HUGE toy store right in times square and its all decorated extravagently for christmas, and i've always remembered that scene b/c i thought it was just so beautiful.
well now i get to GO there! our hotel is in times square too, half a mile from the ed sulliven theatre. we are trying to get tickets for david letterman on thursday night. friday morning we are going to radio city music hall christmas extravaganza!!! and friday night we are going to the brooklyn tabernacle christmas production!! and then saturday night we are gonna go to a broadway show but we haven't decided on one yet. and sunday we have to go home which is so sad, but hey at least we get a few great days to enjoy!
so yah i just wanted to shout it to the world :) the week i get back i have two final exams to write which absolutely SUCKS but hey, it's almost CHRISTMAS!!!!

Start Spreading the News.....You will LOVE NYC, it is one of the best places on earth! When I see you this weekend I will fill you in on all the great things you have to do and see! 4 days will be packed but definitely enough time!
WOW! I've been wanting to go to New York for about a year now, it's pretty close to Ottawa so I hope one day when I'm home to visit I can make it down there. I hope you have an awesome time, it sounds like you will! I'm excited for you :)
It will be fun, girly...you have to take a pic of the large Christmas tree that is also in Home Alone 2 for me...have a great time (I think that Tim and I are going to go next Christmas :)
