On my mind
I thought it was high time for an updated blog. Only problem... not a whole lot is going on these days :)
I've thought a whole lot about moving out this year. I've wanted to be on my own for the last few years and I think that maybe I'll actually do it this year. It just hardly makes any sense at all with my parents in the city... I'm saving myself thousands of dollars living at home. I just like to daydream about it...
The first thing I'd do is get a kitten. I can't have a cat at home b/c Edwin gave my mom asthma. So cats are kind of a no-no in our household. I'm pretty sure if I brought home a kitten my mom would give it away. So I haven't bothered since it would only lead to heartbreak, just like a bad boyfriend. Why do that to yourself? hehe.
The second thing I would do is go shopping for all my own cleaning supplies. I love cleaning... once I start,
I do it the whole afternoon. Last Saturday, I cleaned out Jeff's fridge. It's relaxing. Now anyone who has seen my room may be thinking to themselves, ummm that is not the Kristin I know... well it's true, I have a messy room. But when it comes to the rest of the house, I like it spotless. My room may be MESSY but it still is CLEAN. There is a difference.
Thirdly... I would go to Wal-Mart and get very cute bathroom accessories. Like a pink and yellow striped shower curtain and matching bathmat and towels and soap dish, etc. etc. Oh man it would be so cute and fun.
I don't need anything really for my bedroom. As it is now, I already have enough stuff in my room to fill a house with pictures, candles and photos. And lamps, I enjoy lamps. I'd set up a little office area with the new computer that I just bought, and I still have to go buy some new furniture that got ruined in the flood, like a desk and some bookshelves.
The kitchen would need the most work. I don't have a whole lot when it comes to kitchen gadgets. I have a table and chairs. But nothing like mixing bowls and all that crap. But that will come. All in good time my friends.
So I just realized that my last 3 entry's, including this one, have all been about imaginary things. Good thing my blog's name is "Imagine That" because I do a lot of dreaming.

My friend Becca just moved into a new place and with her money that she had saved up, she threw away her old stuff and bought new stuff, like furnature, bathroom stuff, pictures for the wall, matching dishes all that kind of stuff. She did this instead of buying a game cube!!!! Or a new stereo!!! Can you believe it??? I guess thats the difference between guys and girls. Girls like to decorate and make a home, and while I like to have nice furnature (even though I don't yet), most of my dishes and bathroom things (towels) were given to me by mom. Like If i never had a set of matching towels, I think I could survive. But for some reason, I like it when girls get excited about all those things. Its neat to see the creativeness in females, guys and girls are so different, so instead of demeaning girls for liking those things, I admire them. They have a lot of style and know how to make a home feel warm and welcoming. I admire the creativeness that God has put into you girls. God Bless you all.
good observation! (re: last comment you made kissy) ...this is the most boring comment i've ever written! sorry :(
