"the ruff"

Kelly-Anne is in town with her new little addition to the family, Jacob! So last night Lynnel and I decided to have somewhat of a baby shower for her, except it was just me and Lynnel (and Kelly of course)! Hehe, we just decided to do it at like, 5:00 and Kelly was coming over at 8:00, so we didnt even try to start inviting people and stuff. So we went and bought the CUTEST little present from The Childrens Place. Then we bought strawberries and I already had grapes and blueberries, and we whipped up a little taste of heaven, thanks to Alisons recipe on her blog. You know, at first I was thinking, well this dip isn’t all that amazing, but as soon as you try it with FRUIT, its simply divine. We also had chocolate macaroons, chocolate covered almonds, and gummy worms for snacks! And a super fruit punch. We had a GREAT baby shower!

Then Lynnel had one of her ideas. She wanted to go on the roof. Now at first I had the entire story written out here as to WHY she wanted to go on the roof, but I erased it because Im just too chicken that the wrong person will read this. Lets just say we were spying on someone. Hehehehheeahhahahahahoohohhohoho. We were being little Harriet the Spys. Anyway I will not go on the roof, no sireebob. Im not a roof kind of girl, especially after hearing RYLANS roof story. (Those Schultzs, what is with their roof obsession?). Anyway here I am, very scared that Lynnel is crawling onto our roof, but Im like, okay Im not her mother, just let the girl go…

So I go to the other side of the house to make sure shes okay when I hear :

BOOM BAM BANG and I seriously almost died. I was convinced Lynnel just fell off the roof and killed herself. MY HEART STOPPED PEOPLE, IT STOPPED!

Lynnel is laughing, yes she is killing herself laughing. She says, wow I didnt know your roof went like that! I almost had a heart attack.

Anyway it was a fun night and everyone is SAFE!
