It's never one simple topic

I decided I should write today because I am leaving this evening for good old Porcupine Plain (woooooo hooooooooooooo!! hehe). So I don't think I'll have any chance to correspond with you good people for a little while. I shall enlighten you this afternoon with my smarts, wit and charm.

First of all, I am going to Porcupine for Jeff's grandpa's funeral, which is sad. Funerals are never nice. I find I cry at funerals of people I don't even know. I'm sure this one will be no exception. So just so everyone knows where I am. Now you can sleep at night.

As for follow-up to my shopping excursions, I have to say I have gone a little bit crazy. I have bought four pairs of dress pants in the last week. Just in time for our company to move into "business casual", where now I can where pretty much whatever I want besides jeans.
Sooooo I guess I'll just have to go buy some new business casual pants now. Hmm. Darn. I think I'll save that for the weekend trip in Edmonton.

I also got my hair done again yesterday. I think I am a junkie. A hair junkie if you will. It's dark. Well Jenna says it is still blonde, but I think I look more like a brunette with blonde highlights. I'm not sure, you be the judge. I would like to find out if blonde's truly do have more fun. When we were in London trudging our huge luggage around, several men offered to help me carry my luggage up and down the stairs when we would take the Underground. Erin blamed it on me being blonde. Me, I don't know, I thought it was probably because I had the most luggage and men in London believe in chivalry. It's part of their history. It wouldn't have been the easiest luggage to steal as it was definitely the bulkiest and heaviest.

I don't know if anyone saw "Rob and Amber Get Married" last night, but it was so beautiful and so romantic. Sigh. That's all I'll say about reality TV. Everyone should be happy that this TV season is over so that I won't blog about it anymore! (Go CARRIE!!!)

I have a lunch break in 4 minutes. I think I will have to finish this at 2:00.

Hmm well that was an exciting lunch. I topped it all off with getting in a car accident. My favorite dessert. It was fairly minor, so don't worry. Nobody was hurt, and my car is the least damaged. It just gave me a lovely headache. I am thrilled. Now, how do I become one of those people who get injured in car accidents and get free massage therapy for the rest of their life??? Truly I would like to know. My back hurts. (Really actually it does!!!). Maybe Kevin would know, as we now share this uber experience.

Okay everyone, there is a big pile of paper on my desk that is calling my name.

So have a great weekend.

Oh, Kristin...Rob and Amber get Married was beautiful...Bebe and the black choir singing "Happy Day" made it one of my fav weddings ever!! Sorry to hear about your accident...hope you don't hurt too much. Just in time for you going darker with your hair, I am deciding to go lighter. Never stop shopping...it is theraputic...infact if you ever need a shopping buddy, I am there for you, girl!! And yes, I would like to concur that white is the new black.

Kristin, you should become a "Mystery Shopper", that way you can shop and get paid for it as well as most times keep the product you purchase and get reinburst for it!

if you go through SGI alls you gotsta do is go to a doctor, tell him your back hurts, he'll give you a note, then talk to SGI and they'll tell you how to proceed from there... i woulda done that too but i don't really have the time or effort to do it. i've got other crap on my brain. but i think that's how it works. if however, this accident doesn't go through SGI you've got nothin
